Nedo wooden tripods are made of carefully selected, straight-fibered ash and pine wood. All wooden parts are sealed with a high-tech plastic material that keeps moisture out. This ensures that there is no swelling of wood. The plastic coating of the tripod legs makes Nedo wooden tripods extremely robust and weather resistant with a considerably longer service life than wooden tripods with a regular lacquering. It is also called a Harbor master telescope, as the Harbor Master use to look out at the horizon at the incoming ships. It magnifies around 30 times. It is for nautical use. Has slide proof feet at the bottom, helping it to be stable on uneven ground. The stand has adjustable feet. When fully extended it is approximately 180 cm high. Minimum height is 90 cm. The length of the telescope is 100 cm. The telescope has a turning knob for focusing. The telescope can be seperated from the stand. The difference between the full brass one and this, is the stand. Also the stand has two polishes to chose from. You cna either have a black stand or a light brown natrual finish.
